By now you all heard about what happened with the CGS. So what's next? The community seems to think it's the end of the world, but i see everything going back to the day before that league was announced. The good old days. CGS was great for the community and the most important step in making pro gaming mainstream in north america. It's sad that they couldn't continue, but all will be good. I was planning on doing some interesting LAN events but I had to put that on hold because of the CGS. I'm talking about $5,000-$10,000 LAN/online tournaments.
My test LAN for FarCry 2 was delayed until early next year due to issues with the venue, but that LAN will be the thing we need to test our hardware an our abilities. Soon after this event, you'll see our new company website and promotional things we will do with the community as well as exclusive deals with both jCp teams and CyberRevolutuion.
jCp CSS and CyberRev will battle for cash prizes! Something that I used to call the CR Games have evolved into events that involve jCp. We will see these teams compete in AWP tournaments, best of 3 matches and other interesting events we come up with along the way. The first tournament will be hosted next weekend. Saturday, Nov 29. the exact time and prizes will be confirmed soon.
Any updated info will be posted in both team's IRC channels as well as mine.

Week 1 of the new CAL season started off with us playing 'Ironmen' or more commonly known as the euros. The first week started off on Pipeline. The last match we had on this map was against fd. (now known as nOEx) we struggled a few rounds on defense so we spent a few extra rounds scrimming on defense and making sure we knew what everyone was doing.

I've spent a good part of the past week looking to expand jCp into CS 1.6 and have been talking to a couple high level teams about the possibility of them moving over. In the end, I turned them down in favor of Dynamx because they have something that is hard to find; Skill, dedication and maturity. I do not want to pick up a team that will disband if they don't do well, I want a team that will stick together and get through hard times. Dynamx may be playing CAL-Open this season but the players have played much higher and have work hard to be the best they can be.
